A trapsoul pioneer returns to Vancouver

Few artists reshaped late-2010s R&B as quickly as Bryson Tiller. The Louisville, Kentucky singer and rapper broke through in 2015 with his debut album, T R A P S O U L, a moody fusion of trap production and after-hours R&B that helped give a whole subgenre its name. Powered by the breakout singles "Don't" and "Exchange," the record turned a former online upload into one of the defining sounds of its era and made Tiller a reference point for the wave of atmospheric R&B that followed.

He kept building from there, following T R A P S O U L with True to Self in 2017, Anniversary in 2020 and a self-titled album in 2024. In October 2025, Tiller marked the tenth anniversary of his debut and released Solace & The Vices, a double album that revisits and expands the sound he is known for. The Neo Trapsoul Tour takes its name from that original blueprint, framing the current run as both a celebration of a landmark record and a look at how far the style has traveled since.

What to expect on the Neo Trapsoul Tour

The Neo Trapsoul Tour is one of Tiller's most ambitious outings to date, a global run that stretches across North America, Europe and Australia. The North American leg opened in late August 2026 and routes through major rooms including New York's Madison Square Garden, Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Los Angeles' Intuit Dome before the international dates begin. The October 30 stop at Rogers Arena brings that production to downtown Vancouver.

Vancouver fans also get a deep supporting bill. Toronto duo Majid Jordan, longtime members of the OVO Sound roster, bring their own brand of synth-forward R&B, while Ty Dolla $ign, one of the most in-demand voices and collaborators in modern pop and hip-hop, adds star power to the undercard. Producer and DJ Austin Millz rounds out the night. With four names on the marquee, the all-ages show is built as a full evening rather than a single headline set.
