  • Sep 26 - Las Vegas, NV - Allegiant Stadium

The Take Cover Tour is the band's first stadium run since the Everything or Nothing at All dates of 2023 and 2024, and Canada gets four stops out of it: Toronto's Rogers Stadium on August 4, Mosaic Stadium in Regina on September 15, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on September 17, and BC Place to close the country out on September 20. After Vancouver there is one North American show left, September 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, before the tour turns toward Australia and New Zealand in November and South America in early 2027.

It is also the first full tour with Ilan Rubin behind the kit. Rubin, previously of Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves, was introduced at a surprise show in September 2025 following the departure of Josh Freese, and the band that arrives at BC Place is Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Rubin. Grohl has described the process of relearning three decades of material with a new drummer as a genuine reset rather than a substitution, and the tour's setlists have reflected that, pulling from across the catalogue rather than leaning on a fixed script.

There is new material to play, too. Foo Fighters released their twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, on April 24, 2026, after putting out the title track in February. The record shares space on this tour with the songs that built the band's stadium career, and setlists on the run have stayed long rather than tight, routinely stretching past twenty songs and making room for All My Life, The Pretender, My Hero and Everlong. Expect a marathon.

The support billing is the part worth arriving early for. Queens of the Stone Age are playing direct support on every Canadian date, an arrangement Grohl framed around his friendship with Josh Homme, which goes back to seeing Kyuss play a Seattle club in 1992. Gouge Away, the Florida post-hardcore band, opens. Note that September 20 is a crowded night in Vancouver: Bring Me The Horizon are at Rogers Arena and Sleep are at the Commodore Ballroom the same evening. Frequently asked questions

What time do Foo Fighters start at BC Place?
BC Place lists a 5:30 pm PT start for the September 20 show. With two support acts on the bill, the headline set will land well into the evening, but the early start means doors and openers matter more than usual here.

Who is opening for Foo Fighters in Vancouver?
Queens of the Stone Age play direct support, with Gouge Away opening the night.

Is this the only Vancouver date on the Take Cover Tour?
Yes. BC Place on September 20 is the band's single Vancouver stop and the last Canadian show of the tour. The next North American date is Las Vegas on September 26.
