A new album, then a 59-date tour
The tour supports Palace for the People, the band's new album, due Friday, October 9 through Republic Records. Its lead tracks include "Play Your Games," "Saw You Stand" and the latest single "Tear It Down," and the first two were performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The record was made with producer Mike Elizondo, whose credits include Turnstile, Eminem, Fiona Apple and Dr. Dre, after the band wrote in a remote cabin in the Tennessee wilderness.
The band is the Grammy-winning rock group from Frankenmuth, Michigan: brothers Josh (vocals), Jake (guitar) and Sam Kiszka (bass and keys), plus drummer Daniel Wagner. Ahead of the tour, they are playing an intimate under-play residency at The Basement East in Nashville on the first three Saturdays in October.
Vancouver is the first of the tour's four Western Canadian arena dates, followed by Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg, with Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre on July 29. It is the band's first Rogers Arena show since August 30, 2022. The tour is promoted by Live Nation, and the band says all tickets will be sold at face value plus fees through primary ticket sellers, so fans are urged to sign up for the Fan Presale at GretaVanFleet.com for first access.
