Sunshine and a return to Vancouver

Jungle is the London modern-soul project built around childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, who broke through with a Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut in 2014 and have spent the decade since turning funk, disco and neo-soul into some of the most danceable music in British pop. Albums like For Ever, Loving in Stereo and 2023's Volcano widened their audience, and Volcano's "Back on 74" became a genuine phenomenon, its slinky groove and one-take choreography racking up hundreds of millions of streams.

The Pacific Coliseum date lands on the road behind Sunshine, the group's fifth studio album, released August 14, 2026. Lead single "Carry On" arrived as a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record, previewing a set that leans into the sun-soaked, dance-floor energy the band has made its signature. Expect a set heavy on percussion, layered vocals and the tightly drilled visuals the band has become known for.

The 2026 world tour is a sprawling run that opens its North American leg on September 9 in Minneapolis and threads through Chicago, Brooklyn, Houston, Seattle and Los Angeles before crossing into Canada for stops in Toronto, Laval and Vancouver. From here the tour heads to Europe and a UK and Ireland stretch, so this Vancouver night is one of only a handful of Canadian dates on the calendar.

It is also a step up in room size for the band locally. When Jungle last brought their live show to Vancouver, they played the nearby PNE Forum in 2023; the move to the Pacific Coliseum, on the same Hastings Park grounds, reflects how much the audience has grown.
