A New Stage for a New Era
This year's Summer Night Concerts mark the official debut of the Freedom Mobile Arch, a purpose-built amphitheatre designed for world-class live performances. The new venue promises enhanced sightlines, premium acoustics, and an elevated fan experience that signals a new chapter for one of Vancouver's most beloved summer traditions. Every show begins at 8pm.
The Highlights
The lineup is one of the strongest in the series' recent history. Canadian rock institution Blue Rodeo opens the run on August 22, followed by a rare reunion show from The Guess Who on August 23 as part of their Takin' It Back North American Tour, marking the first time founding members Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman have shared the stage in 23 years. Electronic producer and DJ Zedd brings a dance-floor energy to August 27, while indie-folk favourites Mt. Joy play August 28.
One of the most distinctive bookings of the summer is Cynthia Erivo with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra on August 29, with guest conductor Anthony Parnther. The Emmy, Tony, and Grammy Award-winning actress and singer brings her formidable voice to the PNE stage in a one-of-a-kind orchestral evening fresh from her celebrated West End run. Winnipeg funk-fusion collective Punjabi Virsa closes out August on the 30th.
September opens strong with multi-platinum rock act Train on September 1 and fellow Canadian favourites Barenaked Ladies on September 2. Comedy rock icon Weird Al Yankovic brings his Bigger & Weirder 2026 Tour on September 3, followed by the PNE debut of legendary funk and soul group Earth, Wind & Fire on September 4. Post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil plays September 5, and Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan headlines September 6. The series closes on September 7 with Boy George & Culture Club.
