The first Tame Impala album in five years
Deadbeat arrived on October 17, 2025 and closed the longest gap of Kevin Parker's career, landing five years after 2020's The Slow Rush. Released through Columbia Records, it pushes further into the electronic and dance textures Parker has chased for a decade, with the Australian songwriter pointing to his home country's rave and bush-doof scene as inspiration. Singles "End of Summer," "Loser," "Dracula" and "My Old Ways" rolled out across 2025 ahead of the record.
On record, Tame Impala is essentially a one-man studio project, with Parker writing, playing and producing almost everything himself. Live, it becomes a full band built for rooms the size of Rogers Arena, wrapped in the kaleidoscopic lights and visuals the project is known for. Expect new Deadbeat material alongside the widescreen synth-pop of 2015's Currents, the album that carried Tame Impala from festival tents to arena headline slots.
A rare two-night Vancouver stand
The Deadbeat Tour opened its North American run in Miami in July 2026 and winds through roughly 30 cities before wrapping at the end of September, which puts Vancouver among its final stops.
