Five years quiet, then a reunion
The Neighbourhood went dark after Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones arrived in September 2020, and for a while it was not clear the band would come back at all. Frontman Jesse Rutherford filled the gap with solo records, releasing &ONE in 2023 and Jesse® in 2024. The group later confirmed that they had quietly reunited in November 2024, ending a three-year pause.
The proof arrived on November 14, 2025, when Warner Records released (((((ultraSOUND))))), the band's fifth studio album and their first full-length in five years. A deluxe edition titled Ultrasound+ followed on February 20, 2026, adding five more songs to the record and giving the touring set a deeper well to draw from.
The Wourld Tour, in scale
What makes the 2026 run notable is its size. The Wourld Tour is the band's first arena-scale world tour, opening on March 28, 2026 at the Moody Center in Austin and running through the year across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania before closing on December 4 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Along the way it took in Madison Square Garden, London's O2 Arena, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome and arenas in Sydney, Melbourne, Seoul and Mexico City.
Vancouver opens the final West Coast stretch. The October 2 date at Rogers Arena is followed by Seattle on October 3, Portland on October 5, San Francisco on October 7 and Inglewood on October 9. The band played Toronto's Scotiabank Arena back in April and an outdoor Montreal date at Parc Jean-Drapeau in July, which leaves this as the only chance to catch the tour west of Ontario.
For most of the room, the draw will still be I Love You., the 2013 debut that produced "Sweater Weather" and turned a band from Newbury Park into a fixture on alternative radio and, later, on streaming playlists that never quite let the song go. The newer material is moodier and less tidy, but the pairing is the point: a catalogue deep enough to fill an arena, played by a band that had to decide it wanted to be one again.
