New York City rock icons The Strokes have announced a sweeping global tour spanning North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan, kicking off in June and running through the fall. The tour supports their upcoming seventh studio album, Reality Awaits, due June 26 via Cult Records / RCA Records, and brings the band to Vancouver, BC for a night at Rogers Arena on August 27, 2026. Reality Awaits: First New Music Since 2020
Reality Awaits marks The Strokes' first new material since their widely praised 2020 album The New Abnormal and the extensive global touring that followed. Recorded in Costa Rica with legendary producer Rick Rubin and finished in various locations around the world, the album promises to carry the band into their most ambitious chapter yet. The first single, "Going Shopping," was shared last week, offering fans an early window into where the record is headed. A Tour That Spans the Globe
The tour is among the most expansive of The Strokes' career, taking in festival headline slots alongside headline arena and amphitheatre dates across multiple continents. North American highlights include two nights at Morrison, Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a stop at Boston's TD Garden, and a Toronto date at RBC Amphitheatre. The European leg features nights at London's The O2, Paris' Accor Arena, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, and more. Vancouver: Rogers Arena on August 27
The Strokes will perform at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The show lands midway through the West Coast run, arriving one day before the band's Seattle date at Climate Pledge Arena, making it one of only two Pacific Northwest stops on the entire tour.
