Some of the most memorable shows are the ones built on pure feel, and on Sunday, August 9, 2026, The Constellation Tour brought a triple bill of exactly that to the PNE Forum. Thee Sacred Souls headlined an evening of heart-melting harmonies, genre-blurring grooves and timeless soul - a night that traded spectacle for warmth and never once needed the trade explained.

The Womack Sisters opened, and the trio - BG, Zeimani and Kucha Womack - carry a staggering musical lineage as the daughters of Cecil and Linda Womack, granddaughters of Sam Cooke and nieces of Bobby Womack. That kind of history could weigh a set down; instead they wore it lightly, their voices wrapping around one another with easy, powerful harmony and no small amount of attitude. They were captivating from the first note, filling the room with warmth before the night had fully settled.

Then came LA LOM, and the Los Angeles instrumental trio - guitarist Zac Sokolow, bassist Jake Faulkner and drummer Nicholas Baker - raised the temperature another notch. Their sound lives in a Mexican-Los Angeles musical world that also pulls from cumbia, bolero, chicha, rockabilly and oldies, somehow both intense and soothing at once. With no vocalist and Sokolow’s fluid, twangy, sun-baked guitar out front, they held the room completely - cinematic, romantic and utterly alive.

And then Thee Sacred Souls took the night somewhere else entirely. The San Diego trio’s tender, vintage “lowrider soul” - all sweet, slow-burning grooves and honeyed melody - was made for a room like this, and frontman Josh Lane proved a genuine star, guiding the crowd’s energy without ever forcing it. His voice is silky smooth, the band behind him locked in at an almost telepathic level, and songs like the aching “Can I Call You Rose?” and “Weak for Your Love” drew the whole Forum into a slow, swaying embrace.

At one point Lane climbed down and sang with the crowd, and it captured the whole spirit of the night: no wall between stage and floor, just musicians and fans building something together in real time. By the end it was obvious why Thee Sacred Souls were headlining - they have the songs, the sound and the presence to make a big room feel deeply, intimately personal. A gorgeous night, from the first harmony to the last.
